Learning Objects

The learning objects that CIPeL create are used in undergraduate interprofessional courses run at both institutions and stored in a digital repository. CIPeL has chosen to pilot two repository systems, CURVE and the Blackboard Content System.

All materials created are available for free use by: UK Higher Education, UK Further Education, Non UK Education Institutions, NHS, Independent Health and Social Care Sectors, UK Social Care Services, Non UK Health/Social Care Providers, Charitable Organisations.

If you would like access to our repository, please complete the CURVE registration form. You will then be sent a username and password with instructions of how to log on.

To view some of the learning objects/packages already created, please take a look at our learning object catalogue, which details the different resources put together, the idea behind them and what they are intended to be used for.

Here are some examples of CIPeL's Learning Objects.

Comments received for CIPeL Learning Objects:

"I've just been browsing through your interactive learning object on boxplots - it's very useful and informative.  I immediately recognised the first boxplot from the published paper - I'm the Statistical Editor of that journal who thought your boxplots were so good that I've even used them in talks on how to present statistical findings.  What a small world!"
